Last summer I had the pleasure of participating in the creation of a documentary film about the citizens of the Esplanade here in Toronto called At Heart. The film itself was a true example of collaboration, with people in the community not only contributing their stories and starring in the film, but learning and engaging in various aspects of the production under the tutelage of directors and artistic team Ayelen Liberona & Joseph Camí.

Though the dialogue I recorded to for my part didn’t end up being used, we filmed a time lapse of the creation of a self-portrait intended to accompany it – sped up slightly it can be seen above! I produced the piece faster than I normally would, but it’s a fun look behind the scenes.
